Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
The grapes are meticulously selected and picked carefully by hand during the last ten days of September through the first week in October. The must is fermented in traditional stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 84°F; it also undergoes a delicate maceration on the skins for 15/18 days. The wine matures for 26 months in 225-liter French barrique. Afterwards, it completes another six months in Allier oak barriques, and finally, after an additional 12 months in stainless steel tanks, is aged for four months in bottle before being released.
