Miami, Florida (October 2, 2012) — The Italian Culinary Experience, a two-hour food and wine-pairing event is organized and hosted by Casa Vinicola Zonin USA in partnership with Miami Culinary Institute, Italy-America Chamber of Commerce and Tomson Hospitality.
The Italian Culinary Experience features cooking demonstrations from prominent Italian restaurants in Miami and wine tastings from Casa Vinicola Zonin’s exclusive Estate wines. These renowned chefs prepare a five-course menu of exquisite food and wine pairings for media, restaurateurs, sommeliers, and other affiliated parties. Each month, a different region of Italy is selected, providing guests the opportunity to experience an extensive food and wine tour of that region.
There are total of ten events scheduled for 2012, and the next event in the series will take place on October 9th in collaboration with Scarpetta at Fontainebleau Miami Beach – the iconic resort’s AAA Four Diamond signature restaurant featuring Italian cuisine. Chef de Cuisine Nina Compton will prepare an exquisite menu that will perfectly complement the selected wines. This month will feature the Tuscany Region and wines from Castello d’Albola and Rocca di Montemassi Estates.

- February 21st– Menu by executive chefs, Fabrizio& Nicola Carro from Quattro Gastronomia Italiana and featuring Castello del Poggio Estate from Piedmont Region
- March 20th– Menu by chef Angelo Masarin from Salumeria 104 Restaurant and featuring Veneto Region
- April 24th– Menu by executive chef Julian Baker from Toscana Divino featuring Castello D’Albola Estate & Rocca di Montemassi from Tuscany Region
- May 22nd– Menu by executive chef Giancarla Bodoni from Escopazzo Restaurant featuring Feudo Principi di Butera Estate from Sicily region
- August 21st– Menu by executive chef Ezio Gamba from The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne Cioppino Restaurant featuring Masseria Altemura from Puglia Region
- September 11th– Menu by executive chef Sergio Sigala from Soho Beach Miami featuring Tenuta IL Bosco Estate from the Lombardy Region
